Since getting beta access to GPT-2 in 2019, I have been researching ways AI will help and harm the university classroom, both in general and in my field (philosophy).

I started AutomatED early in 2023 after growing tired of all the think pieces about AI, whether hand-wringing or overly optimistic. We need to get into the details about how we can use it and avoid its misuse in higher ed.

I’m a philosopher, so I don’t mind big-picture musings, but at some point the rubber needs to hit the road.

With AI, we’re past that point.
