If you want to...
ethically leverage AI to provide better feedback faster
maintain privacy while accelerating your grading workflow
learn concrete strategies for keeping "humans in the loop"
walk away with practical "starter prompts" for your specific needs
Then the upcoming AutomatED Zoom webinar — "How to Use AI to Improve & Accelerate Student Feedback" — is exactly what you need.
The last webinar, which occurred on October 4th and covered how to use LLMs like ChatGPT as a professor, was a resounding success.
100% of responding participants gave it an A ("Excellent!") afterwards, with attendees particularly praising the depth of my prompting explanations and practical approach to implementation.
Here’s some of the feedback I received:
“Graham opened my eyes to how create better prompts utilizing his approach.”
“A well organized approach to an intimidating topic. I especially appreciated the depths of the prompting explanations. They brought a new level of understanding to the challenges of 'talking' to A.I.”
Now, as the semester draws to a close and the grading/feedback crush looms, I'm offering a focused session on one of the most pressing challenges in education: providing high-quality, timely feedback to students.
The 90-minute session will include practical demonstrations of using ChatGPT, Claude, and custom GPTs for feedback generation.
I'll share my tested prompts for using LLMs as mentors, student simulators, and teaching assistants, while maintaining academic integrity and student privacy.
The webinar will occur on Zoom on Friday, December 6th from 12pm to 1:30pm Eastern Standard Time.
To register, log in and click the poll option “Yes” at the following link (that’s all it takes, although note that it will send you back to this page after clicking):
Important Notes:
Registrants receive the complete video recording, AI-generated summary, slides, and additional high-value resources (detailed below).
Attendance is capped at 75 participants to ensure meaningful interaction.
I will be the host, as was the case for our last three webinars on how to use LLMs like ChatGPT as a professor, on how to train your students to use AI, and on custom GPTs.
At my recent presentations…
- 95% of attendees reported that I communicated information clearly and were organized
- 90% reported that I kept them engaged
- 100% reported that I answered their questions
- 81% reported that they can apply information I provided in their work/research
- despite 76% having minimal knowledge of tech and AI issues
“Really interesting perspectives beyond the typical plagiarism conversation!”
“I appreciated that the presenter shared some actual examples of ways he used AI.”
“So many ideas to think about. Thanks for a great and inspiring session.”
